In this course, students will be exploring how infectious diseases affect sustainable animal-based food production. Its content and learning outcomes will be applicable across different sectors of food production (e.g., beef, dairy, poultry, and pigs). Although the instructors will provide participants with a solid scientific foundation for understanding the impact of infectious diseases in animal-based food production, the emphasis will be on practical problem-solving, which aims to equip students with the skills needed to contribute to sustainable food production.
