Sustainable Agri-food marketing (edX)
The purpose of this course is to introduce students to sustainable marketing and enable them to create effective marketing strategies and plans to support the sustainability of the agri-food industry. Taking a long-term perspective that encompasses local, national, and global scales, you will also envision different possibilities for the future of food. A sustainable food futures model relies heavily on leveraging effective communication and media to eliminate the old while promoting the new products, programs, and systems.
Students will imagine, create, and promote the food futures they wish for their organizations, communities, and the world. They will also identify target audiences and needs, as well as develop authentic positioning, distribution, promotion, and communication strategies.
