The purpose of this course is to develop students’ academic and applied horticultural skills to the degree level. Students will gain a deeper understanding of plant and crop development, as well as green-space management. As part of their learning, they will be exposed to modern plant production methods and crop management, as well as agronomy and postharvest issues.
In NTU’s rural Brackenhurst Campus, students gain skills in a variety of specialist facilities, including a glasshouse complex, a hard landscape unit, workshops, a Computer Aided Design (CAD) studio and a general drawing studio.
