BSc (Hons) Animal Science

Animal Science BSc Honours students will gain in-depth knowledge of animal behaviors, nutrition and physiology, while receiving the practical skills they need for a variety of careers. A strong emphasis will be placed on livestock and companion animals (including horses), and students will get hands-on experience at local animal centers and on the University’s farms. Furthermore, students will have the opportunity to hear from professionals in the field of animal science. In their third year, students will organize a conference on animal science as part of a group project, gaining marketable skills such as organization, project management, and teamwork.
