The Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences offers a Bachelor of Science in Forestry degree that will prepare students for careers in forestry and related industries. The course will teach students forest management techniques, including how to protect and manage forested areas as well as ensure that other social and cultural objectives are met. Furthermore, students will participate in a field school to gain first-hand experience with forestry operations. As part of the program, students will be prepared to become Registered Professional Foresters (RPFs) with career prospects as Ecologists, Forest Economists, Forest Health Scientists, and Forest Resource Policy Analysts, among others.
