Ecosystems of California (Coursera)

The course explores the diversity, structure, and functioning of California’s ecosystems, as well as how they have been influenced by human activities and stewardship. The course covers topics such as climate, soils, and land use history; human and ecological history in California; and managed ecosystems related to range, fisheries, and agriculture. Students will also learn data collection, natural history, and writing skills, which are important to understanding scientific information.
